Vacuum for Final Cut Pro does not collect any personal information. The app:
All library scanning, size calculation, and cleanup operations happen entirely on your Mac. Your Final Cut Pro libraries, media files, and project data never leave your device.
Vacuum for Final Cut Pro makes no network requests. The app functions fully offline. There is no update check, no telemetry, and no cloud connectivity of any kind.
Vacuum for Final Cut Pro accesses Final Cut Pro library bundles (.fcpbundle) that you explicitly grant access to through macOS folder dialogs. The app operates within the macOS App Sandbox and uses security-scoped bookmarks to remember your selections between launches. It cannot access files outside of your selections.
Vacuum for Final Cut Pro does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or data collection services. No external services are used.
The app stores the following data locally on your Mac:
~/Library/Application Support/VacuumForFinalCutPro/.This data stays on your Mac and is never transmitted.
Vacuum for Final Cut Pro does not knowingly collect any information from children under the age of 13.
If this privacy policy is updated, changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Since the app does not collect data, significant changes are unlikely.
